I grow clematis in most of trees. Sometimes it works and other times…not so much. Some trees seem to swallow them up and they bloom in private.

Sandy that is one gorgeous clematis !
I have Niobe blooming on my arbor gate with Henrii(who is not blooming exactly right now) plus Sweet Autumn and the ornamental Kiwi vine .. finally some decent blooms this year without the earwigs snacking on them constantly .. I guess because we have so little moisture as in rain ? LOL
