Cornus Kousa

Summer has finally arrived with a vengence.  After months of record breaking cold…wham!… a mini heat wave.  Temps have been 30c plus this past weekend.  Beautiful for hanging out at the beach but my peonies couldn’t handle it and they are finished early this year.  Bummer.

  3. I saw a beautiful one in Leesburg, Virginia near Washington.
White bracts with a red tip in each leaf. I would love to get the species name for this one to order it. Any ideas?
